Pixellism, like Pointillism, recognises that to build a unified meaning, an image has to be broken down into atoms, molecules, and fragments, and then reassembled into a formal order. Pixellism fights against the evolution of digital media doing this in place of the Artist. Pixellism recreates order to preserve the memories that modernism would lose. Pixellism turns pixels into substance, sounds into symbols, and movement to stillness. Pixellism recognises that life also exists in the stillness, and that the absence of motion and sound are equally as important to preserving health and well-being as music, movement and energy. Pixellism embraces a range of Artistic practices to achieve these means. The only static you will see in the way Art is produced is what dances across your TV screen.
