"Embers" is part of a transformative series titled "Individual Perspective." When I think of "Embers," a saddening thought emerges, reminiscent of a presence that once existed but has sine dissipated and vanished. The delicate droplets adorning the painting expresses a sense of radiance, serving as a gentle reminder of what once was but can no longer be rekindled. Despite the mournful recognition of what has been lost, it is important to temper our sadness, for the inherent nature of life dictates that with every loss, space is created for new discoveries and opportunities. To me, “Embers” is inviting us to reflect upon the ebb and flow of existence, acknowledging the impermanence of certain aspects of life while embracing the potential for renewal and growth. The painting serves as a visual testament to the cyclical pattern of life, emphasizing that while we may mourn what has slipped away, it is within this space that new experiences and meaningful connections may arise.
