Description/inspiration of work: This is a new series of creations comprising the Bioma Group - Biota Series. Much more simple and direct than my other offerings. I quite enjoy the almost organic expression of the objects in this small series. I hope you will also. Simple, basic coloration also works for me, when I need a break from gradients, blends, tint, and complex hues. This next offering is titled - - 'Florale Aquatica'. Another construct using the Julian Fractal algorithm, to inspire this lush, verdant, almost aquatic look to the subject. It has a simultaneous floral beauty, and an passing carnivorous intent, it seems. My Philosophy: I'm fascinated by colors, shades, tints, tones, and values. Shapes are another interest of mine as well. It is a definite challenge to combine all of the above concepts into a coherent piece of art. I also hope to improve and develop my skills to start depicting surreal landscapes and terrains. My most admired artist is Victor Vasarely The components are assembled separately and color matched by hand. My mediums of choice are Illustrator, Photoshop, Pixarra, and Corel Draw, with its attendant celebrated Painter. I use a Wacom tablet to paint, draw, and otherwise fill in my colors and components I employ the best print paper medium i can locally procure -- 210 - 300 gsm, archival cotton rag mostly, although some of my works look better with Matte paper. All of my works are printed Giclee style mostly, although I exploring the use of metallic inks on a few of my works. Future plans are to include fabric, and framing with my offerings.
