“My work is a visualization of constantly emerging associative compositions, figurative constructions that appear from the depths of the subconscious, but are the fruit of a certain spiritual and mental experience.". “The specificity of my approach to creativity is that I create clearly structured compositions, trying to do it in such a way that there is a certain energy, semantic and coloristic relationship between their elements." Igor Larin is a Russian professional Digital Art artist. Since 1992, he has been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. In 2011, two solo exhibitions were held in Poland. In 2012, the German magazine Ostwind, focused on contemporary visual art in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other former Soviet republics, published an article about the work of Igor Larin. Igor Larin started his career working in oil on canvas and hardboard, drew a lot of ink, now works only on a computer. This, in his opinion, is a very effective tool for a productive and intensive process. This method of fixing creative ideas gives the author the opportunity to work quickly in different directions and with different pictures at the same time. Only in this way, according to the artist, you can keep up with constantly emerging ideas and fix them without loss. This method is a pure creative laboratory, in which known, understandable and explicable objects and images can be combined into such combinations that form a completely new reality. The artists Magritte, Miro, Kandinsky, Klimt, Schiele, and Vasareli had a huge influence on the imaginative perception of the world and the work of Igor Larin. In addition, the artist's co-authors, to some extent, are his favorite poets: - Blok, Mandelstam, Brodsky, Yevtushenko, Vysotsky. Their poetry feeds him with new images and helps to improve his associative thinking.
