About The Artwork
This work is about feeling sunken, stuck, suspended, and completely drained, emotionally and physically. It resembles the depth at which bioluminescence allows its surroundings to be seen. It’s the quiet without the ringing, and the stillness inside a slow breath. You can feel the outline of your body from the lack of heat and you realize how detached your body is from your mind. The mind feels heaviest but the heart is very light, breathing to gather energy to heal the heart, focus the mind, and carry on.
