It is only water, and still, the tears are a reassuring way to deal with a tragedy. Tears do not stop the turmoil but foster an illusion of standing up when the body and mind are breaking down. It is the hope of the wretched in the hopeless conduit of life. Perchance, the tears send a message that the words of human language fail to do. They may reach the ivory towers of blessings, good fortunes, and happiness which the common man and woman live and die for. Or they could connect the heart with the mind to find solace of strength in the beaten life of misery. Curiously, the tear drops if romanticized connect very much to the shape of pearls. The image of the two women is a despondent visualization of grief which is silent even when sparkling to reflect mild light and attention. Eyes are closed to temporarily pause a tragic strife, as well as to look inwards for strength and reason for their suffering. It is ill to find beauty in it, but there is beauty in the strength of the lost and hopeless. Too much to bear and so many chores of tragedy are out there. As my mom would once say, eyes are given to see and to cry your heart out. In the privacy of their vulnerability, the young women cry to let out the tumult of sadness. One tear at a time, they try to endure the strain of a dry world. The AI Artwork is part of the graphic short story titled "The Tell-Tale Morals" which is inspired by Poe's Tell-Tale Heart.
