Rag and Bone Shop Artwork

I create abstract pieces which invite exploration using textured gesso, acrylic, charcoal, and oil pastels on canvas with the occasional element of collage - paper bits and foil. My art is spontaneous, kinetic, and sometimes dark; pairing unexpected textures and color combinations. However, it is ultimately thought provoking. My intent is to utilize color and texture to evoke an emotional reaction, while also allowing the viewer to define their own experience.
