About The Artwork
Mathematical patterns but with bright colours Calm, order, but with a twist This pattern i first encountered at school when our maths teacher asked us this question : if you have 4 ants each starting in the corner of a square but are then let loose to walk towards their neighbour in a clockwise fashion, what path do the ants take. Well that’s roughly the question he asked and I was pleasantly surprised by this pattern (though I knew full well coming from a tropical country real ants aren’t so mathematically precise!!). The colours are semi random.
