A Kiss in The Dreamhouse Drawing

This piece was designed as an homage to the unique Bay Area art scene of the 80’s and 90’s, championed by artists like Jesse Michaels of Operation Ivy, Tim Armstrong, Aaron Cometbus, Lookout! Records, Green Day, Grimple, Neurosis and various other influential bands of the era. There is something very unique and striking about the simplicity of black and white ink work during this period, reminiscent of the early days of Jean-Michel Basquiat - merging the world of punk rock art with modern touches.
