About The Artwork
This work was made early on in the COVID-19 Pandemic. It was inspired by 'A Single Man' by Christopher Isherwood, one of my 2 favourite queer novels. The novel's portrait of a lonely, middle-aged gay man struggling to find joy in life resonated with me. I am pleased that I was able to re-create the cover image with some degree of fidelity.
