Abduction of Europe 2. Drawing

This is a series of drawings in watercolor and graphite on paper, consisting of three sheets. This series is based on the ancient Greek myth of the abduction of Europa by Zeus. This beautiful myth has been repeatedly used by many artists as a plot. In my case, the characters of this story served as good prototypes for shaping the characters of these sheets. Their plasticity, silhouette and line graphics, and the physical properties of the watercolor spot helped convey to the author the emotional component of the relationship between mythical characters, between a woman and a man, in the guise of a bull.
