ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The title of this work was taken from Oscar Wilde's Salomé. I maintain a close relationship with the Moon, and her ghostly presence can be felt in a lot of my drawings. This work speaks of the fear of losing your love, the fear that destiny might hold darker hopes for you, and you are helpless against it. This is about loving so much it hurts.
