About The Artwork
My work process always involves creating a 3D model to use as reference for my paintings and drawings. It's a way of drawing three dimensionally. At the itme I made this drawing I was in the Netherlands in winter. I worked with knitted items such as scarves to create my models. I loved the fact that they looked ambiguous, somewhree between a landscape and a live creature (that's why I called this series the "Animal" series).
