About The Artwork

My fantastic landscape with a grandiose name. The idea is based on the quote by Pablo Picasso 'It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.' I consider this phrase to be absolute deception. In the modern world, we would call it 'clickbait'. In fact, Picasso never aimed to draw like a child. If he truly wanted to, he would first pick up the tools children use to draw, draw on the same surfaces as children, and choose similar scales. Instead of painting canvases two meters in size or larger with oil on canvas. In my graphic, I'm actually going back to my childhood. I'm going there for real. I tried to draw the way I dreamed of drawing as a child. The style is quite realistic, but the theme is fantastical. The main thing is to create a picture that is easy to immerse oneself in. And easy to travel through. There are many details, many pathways. You can spend a long time examining it all and imagining yourself there. In the foreground, there's a large sofa and a control panel armchair. But there's no person. Because it's a place for you to imagine yourself. To immerse yourself in the painting. As a child, I loved traveling through images like this the most.
