About The Artwork

Xâybone learned that the fairy Welg had melted away from hunger in the Great Virdo Ocean and that only her red hair remained. While he mourns the death of his son Viyash, the loss of a fairy he loved more than his family affects him deeply. He takes the remaining hair and returns to his kingdom. This time Welg begins to mourn the loss of his fairy. He doesn't sleep for months. After a while, Xâybone falls into a deep sleep and begins to dream. In his dream, he sees the Welg fairy talking to his hair and smiling at him. He wakes up with a sudden start. He is covered in blood and sweat, and he is very scared. He immediately goes to the sorcerer Şonya and tells him about his dream. Şonya says that this dream means that he will meet the Welg fairy again and that this is possible, but he must destroy the feeling of hatred and revenge within him. Since Xâybone Welg loves his fairy very much, he accepts for now! But how would this extraordinary event happen? Şonya tells Xâybone to go to the Zığır Waterfall, located in the mountainous area northwest of Piran, and talk to Hâwris, the guardian of the waterfall, and beg him for this rebirth. Without wasting any time, Xâybone reaches Hâwris and explains the situation. Hâwris is both a male and female being. He listens to what Xâybone tells. But he says it won't be possible. Because he is old now. Xâybone begs Hâwris, makes a lot of promises and somehow convinces him. Hâwris actually secretly wants this situation because it will lead to a new birth. (To lead to a new life before death) Hâwris swallows the hair of the Welg fairy. After a day, he starts to get worse. His condition gets worse. His facial features begin to change and become pitch black. Xâybone is starting to worry. The next day the Welg fairy is born. Xâybone was very happy. However, Hâwris passed away after birth.

An entity named "Çekılçimo" mentioned in the stories he heard when he was a child, told to scare children, left great traces on the painter. With this interaction, he imagines the geography where he was born and raised as a mythological city as the subject of his paintings. These stories, which he created by including fairies, take place in a universe called Piran. It depicts the relationships between the characters of the event in the context of cause and effect.
