baby blue eyes Drawing

I wanted to include some colour in the piece so that is why I coloured the eyes blue. I have just returned to art and drawing but the copyright issue is so confusing, therefore I bought a camera and decided I would use only my pictures or creative commons/no restrictions/vintage etc. my daughter had just had her second baby and while the baby is not my granddaughter it is inspired by my granddaughter who has beautiful blue eyes. she is looking at you instead of paying attention to dinner. the piece is on ultra smooth Bristol board, A4 size centred in the middle section so that the artwork is more square than rectangle. it is in a portfolio, protected. I will frame it before sending, in a black or white frame with hanging hardware attached. I have always preferred working with pencils rather than paint although I have now started working with coloured pencils and not just graphite. I love how, from the first stroke, you see the work taking form as you progress.
