Bandaid Drawing

Bandaid is the most personal piece in the Gore series, which consists of a variety of materials combined in a colourful, textured collage. The Gore series is a tribute to ability of complete detachment. If we subtract consciousness, emotion and feeling from a person, we are left with a playground of a fascinating human body, where every organ, muscle and cell has its role, everything is going like clockwork, trying to maintain the vitality of the body. It seems like that is the way surgeons have to look at their patients on the operation table, to be able to fully withdraw from any personal attachment to the person cut open in front of them.
