ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A magnificent maze is formed within the subterranean passageways and rooms for buried bodies. It is an ingenious underground cemetery, full of twists and turns and damp darkness. The Rubik's cube of architecture guarded by the ever-present sentinel. Hidden among the cavernous rocks below the surface, are the ossuaries, housing skeletal remains with other areas displaying layer upon layer of exposed bones, themselves, forming rigid wall structures. Some lower rooms present with artefacts from when the seas flowed. These days, people can buy tickets and scare themselves witless.
