Contemplation as a necessary exercise to close a stage. In a constant present, contemplation implies a full stop. A stop, wait and reflect on what happened. Let it settle in us, let it become meat. The exercise of stopping and contemplating is in disuse due to our restless rhythm of life. However, it is essential in the well-conceived creative process. Of my series of works that focus in the concept of contemplation, I highlight the present "Contemplation: the naked look", in which the psychological nature of the character challenges the viewer creating an intimacy and nudity moment. Not only because of the physical nakedness of of a body divergent from beauty standards, but also because in that contemplation generated an intimate climate who makes more and more odd atmosphere. Are we the object of contemplation of the character? It invites us to shed a superficial look and immerse ourselves in a deep, introspective vision.
