Conversation with Atlas Drawing

In almost everyones childhood the world of fantasy starts on a blank sheet of paper. I also loved to draw in my childhood days, creating my own world of fantasy. So I knew very soon how to colour my future life. After I finished the School for Graphic Design in Eindhoven I got my first job as a graphic designer and illustrator at an advertising agency in Nuenen. In 1992 I realized my dream and established myself as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist. I love to create my illustrations in different styles and techniques. Pen and ink, coloured pencil, painting, watercolour and mixed techniques. Most of my illustrations and cartoons are editorial and promotional works published by diverse publishers, advertising agencies and creative studios. Recently I started to publish more of my illustrations for posters, greeting cards, cartoons, comic art, caricatures portraits and fantasy art.
