About The Artwork
This is a drawing of a traditional house in Rangsit, Thailand. I spent two months there working as a teacher and avoiding being bitten by the local wild dogs the majority of which, I discovered a week after leaving, are infected with rabies. The house is on a narrow back road with many dogs, both wild and as pets and all of them barking. Stripped of that context, it looks a peaceful (but possibly sinister) place to live.
