Most images have been edited from manuals, instructional books, advertisements or accessed manually through archives although others were sourced online. In all these drawings, the theme of industry is integral; all images feature or suggest manufacturing methods or industrial processes that have either declined dramatically or been rendered obsolete.

Fragmented or isolated with occasional textual interventions, images become multiplicitous signifiers, indicative of wider social and political meaning.
