About The Artwork
This art object is a the result of drawing diariy, like all art objects from paintings to installation its always a non- stop work, research, experimentation of materials, techniques behind all of them. This Diary is exactly a reflection of that, with 14 cm x 9 cm closed and 14 cm x 18 cm opened .With a total of 29 pages of oil pastel and felt pen drawings and some collage and intervention. This Drawing is fruit of a visual language created from a frenesi of daily emotions, that come with everyday life, a small has it can be, it's this routines that make you we are, small frustations and vitories of work of family of ourselves. Normally my drawing is prompt and impulsive, it's not what i see or what to see its just a not verbal response to just taken place. A need to express something through paint. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- My intention to the viewer is to let him/her create a intimate relation with an strange and unexplored object , away to see and understand others emotion, in this case, mine.

I was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1991. The main focused of my body of work is Drawing, specifically the artist Diary, the importance of continuous and very personal contact between who creates and the creation, making it possible an ongoing work over the same object, for several months. My Drawing emerge from a impulsive and obsessive way of drawing everything and everyone, in some small way to capture and recorde the essence of the place or environment around me. This drawings are born in a formate the book,the diary, Why? There's a continued and progression in this pages from 2010 to the present, from roots realism to a metamorphosis figuration to extremes of a raw expressionism, personal nature , an introspective language that have common all of us, the transience everyday life. Exploring figure,composition,color and materials there's experimental intention which ultimately influence others medias that i explore, Photography, Printmaking, Painting and recently Ceramics.
