My life story started in 1985 3 April in the sea side city Primorsko-Ahtarsk, Russia. Longer than in other cities, I had been living in Sudak, Crimea for 9 years. Before relocation to southern shore of the Black Sea, my family and I had been living in USSR and GDR. During my high school years I graduated with honors from theShenderev’s School of Arts, flute classes, played in a theatre, did diving. In 2002 I entered to National University of Culture and Arts, department of graphical design in Nikolaev. In five years I relocated from Nikolaev to Kiev. There in 2007-2013 I was employed as a designer, had three personal exhibitions, and founded Kiev Museum of Dreams together with my friends and like-minded people. In 2013-2014 I took a postgraduate course “New artistic strategies” and second year class 2014-2015 in the Institute of Contemporary art (ICA), Moscow. Today in my art I continue to develop the topics of time, psychoanalysis, and catharsis. I’m fascinated to create my own legends, memory and reinvention of language. In my painting, the medium acquires another materiality, another appointment. Forms of strokes resembling pieces of fabric, thread, and spiral, play the role of feminine and female presence. The colorful layer on the canvas is like a building material that hiding the events of time, and thereby creating a new memory.
