The structure beneath this drawing is called the Flower of Life ( interlocking circles). I employ this geometric pattern beneath many of my drawings, as it represents the building blocks by which Nature creates , and visually it instills an innate order very pleasing to the eye. This drawing was done mainly in the winter months, the plants are all edible or have extractable medicinal properties and they all grow in our garden.

Born in London, 1971. "My interest is in experience which is wordless and silent, and in the fact that this experience can be expressed for me in art which is also wordless and silent." Agnes Martin. Making art is akin to being an alchemist or a monk, who explores the inner worlds, in search of the perfect ingredients. Art in all it's forms is the expression of inner knowledge... Inspiration comes from everything that surrounds us . Most of my work has a 3D approach, and uses the figure as a vehicle for expressing the experience of existence in the physical dimension.
