Full speed ahead Drawing

Born and raised in the New Forest UK. My feral youth spent mostly outdoors in the wild wonder of the ancient forest. Free roaming ponies, birds of prey and all manner of flora and fauna fascinated me and as my years moved on it still provides huge inspiration for my imagination and creativity. I have been very lucky throughout my working life. Horses still play a large role. I trained Birds of prey in my younger years and worked on many historical building projects. Creativity always played a part in my free time. Life stalled my painting for a while and I have finally returned to it with a passion. I'm very much influenced by my emotions and my style varies from loose and painterly to detailed realism depending on my mood. I work in acrylics on large canvas to create statement pieces. I use soft pastel on canvas for more expressive work and I also work with pencil on paper when I'm feeling intricate. Art is my solace.
