The "Girls, Boys and Nightmares" series is a layering of dreams, each piece linked with a similar theme. In the center of each piece portrays the person who was in all of the dreams, and the strategic placement of color symbolizes the emotions connected to the conscious and unconscious processing. Gatsby and the Bedroom links dreams about a past relationship I would run from in my dreams, surrounded by emotions of confusion, pain, and fear. It also links dreams about the link between the relationship in the book The Great Gatsby. This artwork is made on a cradled wood panel ready to hang.
