Halong Bay # 1 : Boy in the Bay of Dragons Drawing

I love the haze, the mist, the fog of the bay that embrace the lime stone sculptures made by sea fossil of million years, the sea dragon. The white paper suddenly look like the heavy fog of the ocean. I thought of a sleeping sea dragon, Vịnh Hạ Long. With the thought, it was good to glide the pencil on the milky smooth white paper to touch this holy grail of Vietnam. It is difficult for even Vietnamese scholars to explain the impact the bay has on its people. So I won't try. The vertical bonsai rockery garden made by nature, the lime stone walls, the base made of sea fossil, the crack patterns, the tilted heads.. A figure of local fisherman was included for scaling and recording moment of intimacy of his world that I envy. All hidden in the fog.
