About The Artwork
Probably inspired by Bomberg, Michael Andrews and Wayne Theibaud all of whom employ surprises with composition and vertiginous viewpoints. Always like rooftops and the vistas and route ways for the eye - these allow you to send your viewers eye off in different directions and to confuse focal points. There is also a geometric symmetry to this view of Rome that can be played with and enhanced.
