Jess, the Signer and an Announcer Drawing

I drew these during a Disability Performance sponsored by the British Disability Association. It was sent to Toronto. Jess' story is about body image, love from her Mother and the changes that occur as one ages. The signer has her own special way to tell the story. The Man in the lower left has disabled arms because his mother had taken thalidomide. He sang a beautiful song as well. The singer's personality and his little hands were beautifully expressed. The signer was very descriptive in her body language.
