Kakophonie Drawing

My works are made out of charcoal and soot. This prehistoric drawing-material is my tool of self-expression, as well as part of the inspiration. Drawing with black dust demands mastering, yet it opens up a universe of experiments and possibilities.••• •​ The drawings depend on a photographic basis, but spontaneously evolve more and more into a dreamlike reality. Arising inner images are projected into the growing drawing and molten into one entity. •​ A question between reality and dream emerges and generates a fluid transition between objective reality and projection. Between the one's seen and personal association. Sense and nonsense of spontaneously uprising thoughts are reflected in the picture.
