About The Artwork
My artworks are essentially landscapes. Traditional landscape realist-art is redundant to me. In my works, there are no fixed viewpoints, and I seek modernist methods to depict both the external and internal landscapes. My influences include Aboriginal art, Cubism, digital photography, Hubble and Web deep field, maps, and archaeological ground penetrating processes. I hope the viewer sees an essential reality when they look at my artworks, not a recreation of visual 'reality', even in the instance where a specific scene inspired the initial concept.
