morning Drawing

I am a professional artist. My name is Olga. I was born in Minsk (Belarus). I have been living in the Czech Republic for the last 15 years. In the Czech Republic I was studying at the University, Faculty of Arts and Design. I have received a Bachelor degree with specialization in book binding and a Master degree with specialization in illustration. Thanks to my studies in the Czech Republic I got a lot of new knowledge and a broader perspective on art. Czech Republic was the country that gave me the start of a new life. To work as a professional is a great happiness for me. Now I live in the Czech Republic and work for myself as a private entrepreneur illustrating books and postcards. In my spare time I paint with a great pleasure. With a great interest I study modern abstract art and try to paint myself. In my opinion, abstraction is much richer and more valuable than a realistic image, because it has an endless dialogue with the audience, where everyone can see its meaning, which is not restricted by a specific motive. I especially admire modern sculpture and plan to try it in the future. Most often I make illustrations for children. I think books for children are really for everybody, they can be read by both children and adults because all of us are still children deep in our hearts. If adults can return back to their childhood thanks to my illustrations it is a great joy for me. My works are in private collections in Japan, Russia, France, Israel, Germany, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Canada, USA, Sweden, Switzerland. I'm the author of workshops of illustration and graphic in Prague. I am inspired by modern abstract art, nature and people. I love modern architecture and sculpture. My works are influenced by laconic forms in art.
