About The Artwork
Harvura is inspired by the rich Ukrainian folklore works of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol from the series "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka". The engraving depicts a Cossack who says goodbye to his beloved soy before sailing to Zaporizhzhya Sich. Lovers stand near the well on a moonlit night. In the bucket with water and in the depth of the well, the moon and the stars are reflected. The engraving is printed in a limited edition of 80 copies.
