About The Artwork
This is a picture about nostalgia for home. About the same tree that is associated with warmth and childhood memories. I paint all my pictures with threads. I dip the thread in ink and put it on the sheet to get a certain silhouette. Then I press the thread with another sheet of paper and pull it out - this is how "strokes" are obtained. I never sketch, I want to get something unpredictable. Even if you think over all the details, you can still find a different image in the final picture. Searching for these images is always more interesting than seeing an obvious picture, because it force our brain to think - to solve the riddle.

My paintings are full of love to the theater, cinema, images and psychology. For me It has a deep correlation within. I like to believe the protagonists on the stage, I like to create emotions inside my characters, to create plots, the relationship between them. I feel myself not in the auditorium, but it is more like I am behind the scenes. It’s like I pry on every scene I create. Then I go deeper and deeper into psychology and try to understand the person nowadays, what kind of person he used to be when he was a kid, what he felt then and how it was reflected in the present. It can be a reflection of pain, worries, quiet sadness, but for me it always leads to strength, to overcome my fears and to healing.
