Civil Engineer- Artist- Designer-Environmentalist Exhibit also now ,permanent in her own place ''Atelier SuGleri'' Patras-Greece In where she hosts art lovers She works on interior design of buildings she has studied through either painting works or miniatures as well as on unique art applications in tapestries, tiles, textiles round trips, etc. She is parallel civil engineer for the buildings of Hellenic Post S.A. - ELTA She has been specializing in environmental issues. She is engaged in painting since 1992 and professionally since 2006 until today. The art work was born from the natural instinct of the artist and at the same time influenced by the journey of painting, its experiences, its multidimensional existence. as a painter environmentalist and civil engineer as well. The miniatures continue their journey by exhibiting them in several art galleries, in the Atelier SuGleri, by participating in art auctions, decorating private collections as well as putting them on fabrics for the requirements of space decoration and fashion design. Athina Sougleri (SuGleri) is inspired by its multidimensional diversity, which includes art, design and technology. as a painter, designer, civil engineer and environmentalist, she has built houses from start to finish and so she needed, among other things, to design practical applications of her paintings as fabrics, upholstery, tiles, for the decoration of her buildings. Also, as an environmentalist, she looks for eco-friendly paths in her everyday life. She loves observing the beautiful nature and discovers shapes, colors around her. The artist's unique painting born from a natural instinct that is molded into mythical or imaginary elements. They seem to be plants or animals, primitive creatures. A new world emerges and works alongside what it existed. The artist starts randomly and this seems to be determined by some unknown to the rules that have not begun to exist. She is creating this little papers the Known miniatures suGleri , while she is working as civil engineer, she is solving seriously technical themes , she is speaking on phone..etc while she is in stressfull creative and busy hour and also in relaxing hour...that's why she called them ''parallel worlds'' Art miniatures have been created since 2006 after the birth of her two children and after moved in the city of Patras from Athens where she was living for 15 years.
