Quince honey Drawing

Right behind my window grows a gorgeous bush of quince. Its beauty amuses me all seasons of the year so eventually it became my inspiration. This artwork depicts quince in blossom – in its most beautiful state. This artwork is made of a single piece of colored paper. The image is carved with a knife and cut with scissors. Paper cutting is an old and rare art technique; it evolved all over the world like a folk art but now we can use it to create modern ad unique designs. I have chosen this technique because is challenging and delicate and brings good results. Paper cuts look great in modern and minimal interiors while they are light and contrast.
