About The Artwork

Water reflects, it is one of the strongest forces on the planet, but it doesn't seem to do anything. That's why in Buddhism they ask you to be like water, do not strive, do nothing unnatural. The piece is a reflection, it is unframed, it is on fairly heavy museum quality paper.

George Parker was born in Hertfordshire, England. He has been drawing and painting his whole life. In the 1970's he designed and directed the animated sequence hilariously titled 'The Yellow Submarine Sandwich' that was shown in 'All You Need Is Cash' written and directed by Eric Idle. The three and a half minute sequence was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He creates art with a spiritual twist, and he adores working in pastels because they're fluid, they always seem to be moving, or vibrating, they encapsulate an idea and display it in a very iconic way, and they're very messy, much like life. He has also worked extensively in oils and acrylics, but none of those works are for sale at this moment. He is a musician and an author. His songs are played around the world, and his latest book Vampyre Lawyer is available on Amazon.
