About The Artwork
I love rowan very much for its elegant delicacy. Patterned leaves in autumn light up with golden fire, becoming especially festive. Many legends about mountain ash have been preserved from the ancient northern peoples - the Celtic and Scandinavian tribes. In their beliefs, the mountain ash was endowed with great magical power. It protected from the evil eye, damage, and witches' spells. They believed that rowan next to the house brings happiness. And as always, I just enjoy the visual perfection of this tree.
