Emre EMEKTAR who was born in Istanbul in 1980 started his academic art education in Ismail Avcı Workshop, and completed in the Art Education Department in Marmara University. Emre Emektar thinking he can benefit from different art disciplines was in the Comtemporary Balet Dancers Group between 2001 and 2007. Emre Emektar founding his own art workshop in 2002 goes on his search which is independent from material with his style in which he examines the steady mechanic of the subject with his figurative perception. When he draws his pictures, he is inspired by his disabled students' rich and adverse world in Vala Gedik Work and Work Education School in which he still works. Since 2010,he has been working at the Eastern Anatolia region.He has used in his works the region’s human relations and kilim motifs specific to this region.
