About The Artwork
The wonderful thing about illustration and raw design is that the artist can pull through all the elements and perspectives that break laws or conventions in their renditions or studies. It gives us the freedom to work in freedom as Einstein loved to elude to. But I am jealous of all the creative disciplines, and would love to master six or seven before I die. My stylized concepts I call ‘kecknowledgie packages’ after ‘technology packages’, and believe that the more ornate and cadenced the designs of the circuits becomes, the more real the product will become. Each ‘encampment’ hints at their functions as they are stringed together. If we think of the periodic table of elements, it’s a masterpiece of design, infinitely complex and intelligent too, building up the universe of matter.

It has been said that the other is the creator, bridging the channeler or the maker. I believe the mind is a kind of storm, that imports all manners of phenomena. My interests are garnered from green energy, ecology and beings, so my illustrations attempt to pick up on those things from my view. I am a lifelong resident of the vast sagebrush ocean, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains just below Lake Tahoe. My mother placed a print of Picasso’s Guernica above my crib in the Redwoods of California where I was born. That explains my fear / desire dynamic in part - of my psyche, and why I love the beauty of architecture and gardens where peace may be obtained.
