About The Artwork

This is Britain, and in Britain, women do what they want when they want, because they are equal. And if they want to strip off, for money, so be it! It's not at all to pay your rent, your bills, keep your house from being reposessed, support a family. Or just to dull the pain of loneliness in this overpopulated place where people are strangers and women are NOT AT ALL judged on their looks and age, like prized cows, and NOBODY ELSE is making a profit from this, not at all. It's all ' for your own good, Ladies, right?'

Rozagy is a female Artist, film-maker and photographer, with Asperger's syndrome who has painted the Queen, Madonna, David Beckham, Nikki Bacharach, our future King and Queen Will and Kate and many others to raise money for autism charities. Rozagy's art style varies from careful pencilling to bright jewel-like colours, texture and sometimes intricate hand-beading - the process she finds therapeutic. Her art was initially influenced by fairytales and comic books (which she found easy to relate to because of their clear definition of good & evil) but lately has taken on feminist connotations. The notions of justice & equality and the effects of destructive power of prejudice are reflected in her work.Rozagy is a founding member of the autistic culture movement and campaigner. Rozagy has exhibited in the Birmingham Museum, Marcus Gallery, Cambridge International Art and Autism exhibition, London Institute of Contemporary Arts and in private galleries.
