Ski Tracks was inspired by a cross-country ski trip to Rolling Hill Metropark in Ypsilanti, MI., near Ann Arbor. The pastel painting was built on a watercolor underpainting and applied with soft pastels. The painting is framed. Ski Tracks won an award at the Chicago Pastel Painters National Exhibit in 2017.
