Slow snow Drawing

This artwork involves collecting various fallen leaves from yards and parks, then using acrylic paint to create a stencil, repeating the process dozens to hundreds of times to produce a layered background. Subsequently, meaningful and symbolic symbols are drawn on top in monochrome.I approach the artwork with a prayerful heart, continually praying for how the painting will unfold. May peace and grace be with everyone who accompanies this painting. At times, the vitality of the seasons becomes palpable. The verdant leaves and the fruits ripening for harvest... Once again this year, without fail, the seemingly lifeless winter transforms into spring with the divine breath. Spring signifies resurrection, where all that appeared dead during the harsh winter is rejuvenated. We naturally embrace this wondrous promise. Like a symphony orchestrated by the Creator, spring dances with life. Passing through the bright summer nights and the bountiful autumn, and then winter... My worship involves marveling at the gifts of everyday life bestowed upon us and responding to their beauty with gratitude. In those moments, profound emotions flow like waves, expressed through art. A snowflake delicately resting on a frozen car hood captivated me. A true sapphire diamond... Within it, someone adorned it with jewels, revealed only to those who love themselves. 'It's for you.' Like the divine gaze that notices me even amidst the crowd, I gathered fragments of leaves across the seasons and clothed them with my own vision. Hoping that the stories of symbols found in the Scriptures are encapsulated... May the grace of the One who adorns even the momentarily withering grass of the fields more beautifully than Solomon's robe bless all those transitioning from winter to spring in their seasons of life.
