I was visiting the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburg, PA with my daughter and parents. Upstairs from the dinosaurs, they had stuffed animals in their habitats all set in wild poses: hiding, hunting, fighting, and just being. I was drawn to the white owl hunting the white hair in a wintery scene. Serene, mysterious, and lethal - not exactly the kind you would cuddle at night. In mythology, owls are usually attributed to wisdom, patience, and protection. They are also associated with magic, danger, and the unknown. So take this moment as you wish. Thank you for looking. Namaste.
