Contact us.I have been a self-taught expressionist artist for many years, working with ballpoint pen and pencil. My original drawings explore the relationship between colour, geometry, texture and movement, taking inspiration from the freedom and individuality of the Expressionism movement.
I enjoy moving away from realism, using distorted forms, irregular shapes and expressive lines to create compositions that are open to interpretation. I am particularly interested in organic forms and the unexpected patterns that emerge when different elements come together.
My approach is intuitive rather than planned. I start drawing and let the composition develop as I work, responding to the marks, shapes and colours as they appear. This allows me to experiment freely and discover possibilities I might not have considered beforehand. I want each drawing to have its own character, with a sense of movement and detail that invites the viewer to look more closely and draw their own conclusions.
