I believe that art is a language that transcends limits, a testament to human creativity that comes in countless forms. "Naskhi Kantha" refers to a traditional style of embroidery originating from the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent. Naskhi Kantha is a type of quilted cloth, often made from old saris and dhotis, stitched together with colorful threads in various intricate patterns. While Naskhi Kantha is primarily an embroidery technique rather than a painting style, artists may have drawn inspiration from the vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and cultural significance of Naskhi Kantha when creating paintings or artworks. The inspiration for such paintings could stem from a desire to celebrate Bengali culture, honor traditional crafts, or explore themes of heritage and identity. I might also be inspired by the stories and symbolism associated with Naskhi Kantha, which often reflect themes of resilience, creativity, and community.
