About The Artwork

In 1856, Colt arrived in St. Petersburg to negotiate the acquisition of weapons produced at his factories by Russia, attended the coronation of Emperor Alexander II, and met with Grand Duke Constantine. He signed a contract with the Russian government for the supply of guns to the Russian army. One of the Russian officers arrived in New York with Colt under the guise of his valet and prepared to send 50 thousand rifles to Russia, disguised in bales of cotton. The contract signed with Colt was soon canceled, which led to his filing a lawsuit against Russia and transferring the case to arbitration (1857). The matter ended with the fact that, as a result of negotiations, a new contract, more beneficial for Colt, was signed, which provided for the start of production of Colt revolvers in Russia using American equipment, machine tools and drawings. Satisfied with the new contract, Colt presented Alexander II with a custom-made set of rifles and pistols. In the 1870s, the Russian military preferred the Smith-Wesson revolvers to the Colt revolvers the work is done with a simple pencil and framed under glass. Sending to any country in the world. High-quality packaging of the painting guarantees reliable delivery.

my name is Eugene I was born in the north of Russia. My father gave me my love for drawing; I have been drawing since childhood. At the moment I am not only an artist, but also a tattoo artist. Life has decreed that I did not study in art schools, I am self-taught. But my daughter goes to art school and I am very happy about that. You can find everything for yourself in my works. The majesty and beauty of animals. Social problems of society, their dreams and achievements, joy and a smile. I develop in the style of hyperrealism. My works are always contrasting and filled with energy. I show people that even in black and white tones there is a place for positive emotions and deep meaning my inspiration is black and white photographs and works of great artists. I want to show beauty in small details, so in my works I strive for maximum detail. I do not draw "why or for what", I draw "because". Because I really like to see how work is born, how it comes to life with each new stroke, how my emotions are transmitted to other people
