About The Artwork

The Fall of Man, a term used in Christianity to describe the transition of the first man and woman from a state of innocent obedience to God to a state of guilty disobedience. According to Christianity this explains why sin and misery exist in the world today, traced back to that fateful encounter between Adam and Eve and Satan in the Garden of Eden. At the top of my drawing that is like a stained glass window, it appears as if fiery eyes are watching over man's descent below, whilst on the horizon two ships pass in the night.
