“Whatever is the origine, personal story or life’s goal, it seems that the everything deeply connected, it’s contained into a deep and chaotic hole. Who knows if the escape from that could give to the human being an opportunity to change his own point of view or maybe he needs a more deeper introspective trip for changing his own life exactly where he’s living.” This artwork born from a consideration over personal identity and what we are living for. Haven’t clear answers to this questions let you feel with a very reduced view, like inside a hole where the weight of the days scary a lot without help to find a solution. The astronaut represent who’s trying to escape outside for finding his own reality risking all for something he don’t know. Someone do ti with success finding the way with no return to the original condition, someone no, falling back to the start. This crowded composition have to transmit the sense of oppression broken from the central symbol of hope (the astronaut character) for the future.

Stefano Borella (b. 1991) approaches art thanks his mom’s passion for drawing, ceramic decoration and sculpture. This multifaceted vision allows the artist to test his figurative vocation which easily finds its own expression analyzing the link between feelings and images. His artistic identity is expressed through the essence of black like a free approach to the creation, mainly focusing over emotions and sensations. In his works redundant is the usage of dissonant elements, useful to underline the artist's "tragicomic" vision who try to answer to the big questions of life.
